We returned to White Willow Farms. We captured a stunning maternity session with Chris and Angelica. Around the same time a year ago, we captured the union of these two at the farms.

There is something so refreshing about the open fields, tall grass, and elegant horses at White Willow Farms. Did I mention the horses were out!? Your attire isn’t everything but in your photos, it does matter. Some people don’t think black is a good color for a maternity session but on Angelica, it was meant to be. Her second look was just as stunning. This session was one to remember. Take a look.

Dark Winter Romance at Laurel Hall | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

For this second look, we wanted to go with all black with a touch of gold and maroon. It is a super moody vibe and we love it! We went with the same team and they brought their A-game for sure!

Of course, we had to go with the black on black. I hope one day we are able to capture a real wedding with this much creativity but instead of waiting, we decided to create it ourselves! This was an opportunity to showcase the beauty of the color black and black love as well. As a black-owned business, we take pride in our heritage and the resilience of black people. Woodsy Winter Wedding| Indianapolis Photographer

To close out 2020, we tried our hand at our first styled shoot. We pulled together an amazing team of local vendors who helped us achieve this beautiful styled shoot. We knew it was only our first but we wanted it to be epic.

The inspiration for our styled shoot

The inspiration for this style was our beautiful Midwest snowy winters. The first snowfall is magical and elegant. It is clean like a bride dressed in white. The bride’s dress is fluffy like blanketed snow. Overall, we wanted to highlight the beauty of such a simple color palette and concept.

I hope you enjoy this styled shoot as much as we did creating it. This is the first and definitely not the last. Be on the lookout for part two!

Industry Wedding| Indianapolis Wedding Photographers

Angie and Jordan were one of the most fun couples! Their joy was so contagious! Their wedding was at the Industry, located in downtown Indianapolis, not too far from the Lucas Oil Stadium. Caribbean Wedding| Indianapolis Wedding Photographer

Three years ago a young woman of Haitian descent decided to travel from Florida to Haiti. She went to learn, serve and love the people of Haiti. Never would she have imagined that she would fall so deeply in love with the country, stay year after year, and be found by the love of her life. Diamond and Joanes started a friendship that blossomed into a deep love founded on faith. Joanes is a gentleman and Diamond is beautiful inside and out.

I met them for the first time in person when I traveled to Haiti, just two days before they would say I do. Some might have called us strangers, but they welcomed me with wide-open arms and made me feel like family. I loved everything about this Caribbean wedding. I look back at their photos often to relive this day and my hope is that Joanes and Diamond, along with all of you, are able to do the same! Enjoy!
